With a range of experiences including work at the Detroit Veterans hospital, Dr. Yates successfully treated patients in medical need of rigid gas-permeable contact lenses for diseases like keratoconus. Because of this success in an otherwise difficult field of study and the friendships formed with patients after years of reliable service, Dr. Yates became a known specialist in every contact lens fitting type including post-graft, post-refractive, prosthetic, multifocal and irregular astigmatism.
Now it is with great excitement that Dr. Yates announces the fulfillment of her lifelong dream to own a practice and is proud to be in partnership with Normandy Optical. There she vows to continue her legacy of dedicated patient care and expand treatment options to those in need of anything from a basic refractive exam for glasses or contacts to the treatment of the most severe debilitating optical disorders.
