​​  Priya Brown, O.D.

​Priya Brown, O.D., was raised in Birmingham, MI and graduated from Seaholm High School. She went on to get her bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences from Grand Valley State University. Dr. Brown went on to attend Michigan College of Optometry (MCO) after taking a year off to gain experience by working for a local optometrist. During her final year at MCO, Dr. Brown was able to gain clinical experience at Henry Ford Optimeyes, Normandy Optical and John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. She gained experience in treating and managing a variety of diseases, such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and red eyes. She was also able to fit a variety of specialty contact lenses to manage conditions such as keratoconus and dry eye. Dr. Brown graduated from MCO in 2019 with highest distinction. 

​Dr. Brown has returned to Normandy Optical to practice optometry. She enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams to adults and children. She is well educated on treating and managing a variety of diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, keratoconus and dry eye. Dr. Brown looks forward to providing excellent eye care to you and your friends and family!

​Dr. Brown is an active member of the Michigan Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, Marty, and two Australian Shepherds, Pringles and Chips. Dr. Brown and her husband love spending time with family and traveling the world together.
