Dr. Devin Pickett is a proud Michigan native, originally from Clinton Township. She graduated from the International Academy of Macomb with an International Baccalaureate Diploma before pursuing her undergraduate studies in biology at Ferris State University. She was accepted early into the Michigan College of Optometry, where she earned her Bachelor of Vision Science and later her Doctor of Optometry degree.
During her clinical training, Dr. Pickett completed rotations at Normandy Optical, the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, and Henry Ford OptimEyes in Troy — gaining hands-on experience in ocular disease, pediatric vision care, primary eye care, and specialty contact lenses. Today, she brings that well-rounded expertise back to Normandy Optical, where she offers comprehensive vision care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Pickett has a special interest in managing chronic conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and dry eye. She takes pride in tailoring care to the unique visual needs of each patient and believes in building lasting relationships rooted in trust and compassion.
She is an active member of both the Michigan Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Outside of clinic hours, Dr. Pickett enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
