Dr. Sarah Krause is proud to serve patients in the community she calls home. Originally from Chesterfield, she graduated from L’Anse Creuse High School North before earning her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University’s Lyman Briggs College. It was during her undergraduate years that she discovered her passion for optometry and joined the university’s pre-optometry club. She went on to attend the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she received comprehensive training in primary care, pediatrics, and ocular disease. Her clinical rotations included time at Cleveland Eye Clinic, Broward Eye Care, Braverman Eye Center, The Eye Institute, and the Michigan VA Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2015.
Dr. Krause began her career at Advanced Vision and joined Normandy Optical in 2020 when the practice became part of the Normandy family. She provides full-scope vision care with a special interest in pediatric optometry, binocular vision, and managing ocular disease. Known for her kind, patient-centered approach, Dr. Krause enjoys caring for families and helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, comfortable vision.
She is an active member of the American Optometric Association. Outside the office, Dr. Krause loves spending time with her husband, Nathan, and their two daughters, Gabriella and Ruby. She enjoys baking, visiting with family and friends, and staying active — especially on the tennis court.
