Anthony A. Sesto, O.D.
Anthony A. Sesto, O.D., is from St. Clair Shores, MI and a 2008 graduate of South Lake High School. He went on to study biology/pre-optometry at Ferris State University where he completed his bachelors degree. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree he was accepted into the Michigan College of Optometry. During his final year of graduate school, Dr. Sesto was able to train at Dorn V.A. Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina and Duane Waters Hospital in Jackson, Michigan where he gained valuable experience managing patients with ocular disease, keratoconus, low vision and pre/post op surgical care. In 2016, he graduated with honors with his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Michigan College of Optometry.

Since becoming an optometrist, Dr. Sesto practiced in a multi-specialty ophthalmology practice where he gained vast experience treating and managing ocular diseases such as diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye and keratoconus.
Now that Dr. Sesto is practicing at Normandy Optical, he has brought his experience from his previous practice along with new technologies and treatments. Dr. Sesto enjoys providing comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, specialty contact lens fits, treating Dry eye, and the management of ocular diseases such as Diabetes, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and others.Dr. Sesto's passion for providing the best care for his patients was noticed by doctors from Kresge Eye Institute and they have been referring patients to him for scleral contact lenses to treat Keratoconus, genetic corneal dystrophies and severe dry eye caused by Sjogrens and Graft vs Host Disease.
Dr. Sesto is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Optometric Association, Optometric Services to Humanity, Michigan Foundation of Vision Awareness and the Michigan Optometric Association where he is involved with the executive board and many committees. When Dr. Sesto is not working or volunteering his time you can catch him golfing, going up north to his family's cottage, boating, and spending time with his wife (Jessica) and his son (AJ) born May 2019, daughter (Juliet) born January 2021 and daughter (Maria) born March 2023.
